Shipped Order FAQs

What happens once I’ve ordered?

We receive notification of your order. We then manually allocate your order the next available bake day.

When will I receive my order?

In general, if you order over the weekend you will receive your order the following week on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. We will send you an email separate to your confirmation email with the exact date once we’ve allocated your order to its fermentation schedule. If you are simply ordering dry blends these will be shipped on our next working day.

For our UK customers - you guys need to allow at least 7 days from order.

How do I track my order?

Once we print the delivery label for your box you will begin receiving DPD updates through email and text message. It’s really important you use your email address in particular for communication from us and DPD - particularly in adverse weather conditions. DPD will email and text you a one hour delivery slot the morning of your delivery. It’s very important you are in for delivery. If you’ve been notified that your package has been delivered but you can’t find it the quickest way to resolve this is through contacting DPD directly. You can find your local depot contact details here for Ireland. Quote your driver name and order number so that the depot can reach out to the driver directly for more information that will help rectify the situation asap. Our UK customers can use this link. Quote your driver name and order number when contact has been made with the DPD UK customer service desk.

How should I store my order once it arrives?

All our products can be kept in the freezer in their packaging. There is no need to put them in cling film or freezer bags. Scones, pittas and biscuits can then be defrosted one at a time. You can slice all our loaf products before freezing and they can be defrosted one slice at a time. Placing a small square of greaseproof paper between each slice will make this process easier.

If you go through your bakes in one week there is no need to freeze them. They can be kept in the fridge or at cool, dry room temperatures. The quality of our products will suffer in high humidity. You can check the humidity in your area through most weather apps. Here on the West Coast of Ireland we use dehumidifiers to dry out the air. This establishes much better storage conditions for our food and is better for our overall health.

Do not store our bakes in airtight containers. Humidity will be created and the bake will spoil quicker.

Dry blends can be transferred to glass jars if preferred.
